China’s Jin hopes torch attack will be forgotten August 10, 2008

BEIJING, Aug 6 (Reuters) – Wheelchair-bound former Paralympian Jin Jing is hoping the attack on her during the torch relay will be forgotten by the time the history of the Beijing Olympics is written.

Jin was hailed as a hero in China when she shielded the Olympic flame from pro-Tibet protesters who threw themselves at her and tried to snatch away the torch during a chaotic leg of the relay in Paris on April 7
