The feature story below, on men’s fencing co-captain Scott DiGiulio, is part of a year-long commitment to highlight Harvard’s captains and many other intriguing student-athletes.
Junior fencing co-captain Scott DiGiulio was introduced to the sport in seventh grade and after clearing up some misconceptions, excelled.
“Being as naïve as we were then, it seemed like the sport was sword-fighting like in the movies, which was just too cool to pass up.”
